I'm Daniel, a product engineer based in Cambridge, UK 👋

I build software, sometimes elegant, sometimes held together with duct tape. Lately, almost all of my development work is AI assisted where I use Cursor as my primary tool.

My journey with code started young, when I discovered arrays while building a simple game. Watching one enemy become many with just a loop and an array blew my mind... and I was hooked. I've been building things ever since, from dragline physics simulators to tools that help small businesses understand their own processes better.

Today, I'm co-founding Flow Myna with my wife Bronwyn. We're creating a easy-to-use process mining platform designed for the needs of small teams.

Outside of work, I like to photograph everyday things, watch my fish, play way too much Beat Saber in VR, and explore the outdoors with my family. I also read a lot of Hacker News. Probably more than I should. If you're curious about what I've been reading or bookmarking lately, check out my favorites list.
