I'm Daniel, a designer and engineer based in Cambridge, UK 👋

I build software, sometimes elegant, sometimes held together with duct tape. Lately, that includes a fair bit of AI.

My journey with code started young, when I discovered arrays while building a simple game. Watching one enemy become many with just a loop and an array blew my mind... and I was hooked. I've been building things ever since, from dragline physics simulators to tools that help small businesses understand their own processes better.

Today, I'm co-founding Flow Myna with my wife Bronwyn. We're creating a lightweight process mining platform designed for the needs of small teams. No complexity, just insights.

Outside of work, I like to photograph everyday things, play way too much Beat Saber in VR, and explore the outdoors with my family. I also read a lot of Hacker News. Probably more than I should. If you're curious what I'm reading or bookmarking lately, check out my favorites list.
